-Departure from the hotel in the early morning heading to Luxor. Travelling by road, your adventure starts at Karnak Temple. Karnak Temple was sacred to the memory of the God Amon. It is the most grandiose and overwhelming of all Egyptian temples. The most amazing part of the temple is the hypostyle, an immense hall where 142 gigantic stone columns in 16 rows support a stone roof. The hypostyle covers the same area as Cologne Cathedral and was regarded as one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Proceed to see the Royal Tombs at the Valley of the Kings, The Colossi of Memnon, the giant statues standing on grace land between the Nile and the rugged desert hills guarding the valley and the nearby Temple of Queen Hatshepsut -a vision in colonnaded stone. Drive back to Hurghada. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
